The lotus flower meaning varies from culture to culture. In general, however, the lotus commonly serves as a sacred symbol for purity, rebirth, and strength. Emerging from murky water with clean petals, the lotus is also thought of as a symbol of transcendence and overcoming adversity, as well as spiritual development and liberation.
The stag's antlers are one of the characteristics that have made it the figure of spiritual superiority in many cultures. Like a crown, the antlers grow beyond its body, bringing it closer to the sky and making it sacred. The stag symbolizes grace, stamina, leadership, maturity, spiritual development and regeneration.
In April 2020, during the challenging period of the Covid-19 lockdown, I embarked on a unique journey of self-discovery through a past life regression session. My trusted friend and psychotherapist, Vincent Cheng, guided me through an experience unlike any I had encountered before. Uncertain of what to anticipate, I surrendered to the process.
During this journey, I found myself amidst a breathtaking, vibrant forest, teeming with life. It was in this sanctuary that I encountered a majestic stag deer, adorned with grand antlers. This noble creature radiated potent masculine energy, yet simultaneously bestowed upon me an overwhelming sense of peace and all-knowing universal wisdom.
As I inquired about his name, the response echoed within me, clear and resolute: "Trius." I asked for further clarification, and once more, the word resonated in my consciousness. This term, unfamiliar to me until that very moment, left me intrigued and reflective.
In the aftermath of the session, I felt compelled to document this extraordinary encounter in my journal. Driven by curiosity, I turned to the vast expanse of knowledge at our fingertips: the internet. A search for the meaning of this newfound word yielded a single definition, contributed by a random individual from Tennessee, USA. Astonishingly, it read, "the infinite possibilities of an infinite being."
In that moment, words eluded me, and I was left in awe. Among the myriad interpretations that "Trius" could have assumed, this definition mirrored with precision the sensations I had experienced in the presence of the stag. It was as though the universe had whispered its secret to me—a revelation of our boundless potential as infinite beings.
As my journey in yoga continued to evolve, I felt a calling to share the concept of "Trius" with the world—a testament to the belief that each one of us is an infinite being, imbued with infinite possibilities.
